I liked the Scripture included with each writing and prayer. It was nice to read more details about the Historical dress for battle.I think this book may appeal to busy mothers of young children who have been raised in church.
I woke up in the night and couldn't go back to sleep so I read this for awhile and finished it tonight. I prayed each of the prayers for our children and grandchildren!

Have just completed this daily devotion and give it the highest recommendation possible. Although I have studied "The Armor of God" a number of times....most recently Priscilla Shirer's study, this is a first for me in approaching it as a daily prayer guide. Priscilla really emphasizes prayer as a key piece of the armor in her study, so this is a perfect way for me to put the recent study to use. The Writing Sisters offer a number of insights new to me.....and using this as a guide for praying specifically for my adult children has given me the opportunity to BE STRONG IN THE LORD for them as well as for myself.
In addition to using it as a personal guide, I feel that small groups could use this as a basis for Bible study.....for women and for men......and for those with or without biological children.
Our world is in sore need of prayer warriors for our children!
I can't wait for each new book from these precious women, as the books consistently deliver essential guidelines for the parent or grandparent, aunt or uncle that wants to create a powerful prayer routine for their beloved children. I use these books in ministering to the women and mothers that are in my local homeless shelter. I plan on expanding my use of these great prayer guides to father's that are incarcerated through our churches prison ministry. I just do not believe that you will ever be disappointed in the blessings and powerful results that you will experience as a result of using this book as a guide in your prayer life. Be sure to order extras to pass along!

Not bad... easy read
Be Strong in the Lord is a good book about praying for the armor of God for your children. It's a fairly easy read with heartfelt prayers for your children. I also prayed for my grandchildren. I'd recommend this book...
I've renewed my commitment to pray for my adult children, and this book is giving me an easy way to meet that commitment. It's also very inspirational for me - I find I'm praying the prayers in the book for myself as well. I think everyone can benefit from this well written guide to prayer.
