Remind everyone that this is an adult read.
The cover is stunning I really just starred at it for a while due to the hotness. Stunning Model on the cover. I absolutely love the lightening in the background. The conclusion to this series is simply amazing and when it stopped I was like "What NO!! It can't be already over!!!" I then preceded to go back and read it again just for the sake of being with Chace! I really hope this author makes a side series from this dragony adventure. I really want to know Gunner and Mason's story. I love the characters and the cabin with the personality of a vengeful woman is too funny! I love the cabin's personality and what it does to Chace. This author is so awe-inspiring. She knows how to captivate and enthrall the reader and leave them wanting more. The other books I read by her was just as captivating as this one. Love the writing style and the easy flow it has. Okay I'm in LOVE with this series and is one of my favorites now. LIZZY IF YOU ARE READING THIS NEED MORE SHIFTERS...PLEASE! Would you take a leap of faith if it meant life or death for the one you loved?

I absolutely loved the conclusion to this fabulous series. The author truly knows how to tell a good storyline. The characters are expertly described that when when they shift you are able to visualize them giving a 3 dimensional feel to them. Throughout the series you could help but root for Sky and her Dragon Chace to finally come together in a HEA. They author certainly didn't disappoint this reader in telling of this story. Plus boy was the heat level on this one SMOKIN HAWT. I highly recommend this book and series if you are either a fan of dragons, shifters, or the author Lizzy Ford. I will definitely be following her writing career.
I anxiously awaited for the final book of the Charred series to come out. I quickly snapped it up when it did and set aside the ebook I had been reading just to read this one. I was happy in general with the book, however there were some disappointments within it as well.
First it was too short compared to the other two books, and I believe it was because there were additional details left out. The background of Dillon and Freyja. I know a lot of their story was already given but much of that was fairly vague. I didn't see how they chose the underground cave system and why it wasn't mentioned before this. The second thing was Ginger's, Sky's mother, background. She had very little stated about her background which was such a mystery throughout the whole series. I believe more could have been said of her. Finally I was just seeing more time passing between Charred heart and Charred Hope. What happened during that time frame? What happened the Sky's father's home? nothing was ever discussed of that either? I still loved the book and the series immencly and gave a 4 star rating because I think it is a great book and an amazing series that created my love of dragon shifter books! Thank you Lizzy Ford!!!!!!
A great ending to the Heart of Fire series!
Charred Hope answered a lot of my question, including if Chace would grow up and get his magic back, what happened to Sky’s mom, whether or not Chace and Sky would defeat their enemy, and whether they would end up together.
I loved watching Sky as she explored her new power as the shifter protector, and when she figured out exactly what she could do for the first time, I found myself laughing out loud.
I loved Mason and Gunner in this installment. And surprisingly, I even liked Chace. I really didn’t think I could like him after the first book, but he finally became the guy I wanted him to be.
There was action, romance, suspense. Everything flowed so well. There were a few places where I would have liked more information. Some events felt as if they were just brushed over, and although my questions were answered, I still wanted more of an explanation, particularly with Sky’s mom. But overall I was satisfied with how it all played out.
What else can I say? I loved, loved, loved the ending. It totally made me smile. Just perfect!
Overall, the Heart of Fire series was entertaining, especially this last book. If you love paranormal romance with shifters, then this series is a must read.
